REKKKK…. PIYE KABARE ??? AYOK NANDUR JAHE ABANG NANG POLYBAG!!!
Salah satu pembudi daya jahe merah, mengatakan menanam jahe merah dengan media karung atau polybag tidak ribet dan tidak memakan tempat besar namun hasilnya bisa tinggi. Misalnya jika menggunakan tanah di kebun, hasil yang didapat untuk sekali panen hanya 1-5 kg, sementara di dalam karung bisa lebih dari 20 kg.
Keuntungan lainnya, waktu tanam menggunakan media karung atau polybag lebih singkat, hanya 8-10 bulan. Sementara di dalam lahan kebun harus lebih dari satu tahun. Selain itu, lahan di kebun kurang bagus jika terus-terusan ditanam jahe, kualitas tanah akan berkurang, panas, dan unsur haranya habis.
Keuntungan menggunakan karung atau polybag simpel. Dia memberikan estimasi pengeluaran dan hasilnya, misalnya untuk satu karung diisi cukup dengan satu tunas dengan harga bibit kisaran Rp.400 hingga Rp.1.000 Dalam waktu 8 hingga 10 bulan atau paling lama 1 tahunan, bisa menghasilkan minimal 20 kg. “Keuntungannya bisa dihitung sendiri, harga per kilogram jahe yang cukup tinggi dikalikan dengan jumlah karung yang tersedia.
Faktor yang Memungkinkan Budidaya Jahe Merah Menguntungkan
Mari kita urai beberapa yang mungkin akan menjadi faktor menguntungkan atau mendukung keberhasilan budidaya jahe merah
1. Permintaan terhadap Jahe Merah masih cukup tinggi, baik untuk kebutuhan dalam negeri maupun luar negeri.
2. Tanaman Jahe bisa tumbuh pada ketinggian 0 – 2.000 m.dpl. sehingga cakupan tempat budidaya relatif luas.
3. Teknis budidaya relatif mudah, dengan menggunakan media tanam di dalam polybag ataupun karung bisa dilakukan
4. Harga jual jahe merah menurut perkembangan pasar saat ini nilai ekonomi olahan lebih tinggi dibanding harga jahe mentah.
5. Belum begitu banyak yang melakukan budidaya jahe.
6. Biaya yang harus dikeluarkan relatif rendah. Kita hanya perlu menyediakan polybag atau karung, tanah, pupuk, dan bibit serta biaya pemeliharaan yang tidak begitu besar, apalagi bila dilakukan oleh kita sendiri.

Persiapan bibit.
Bahan bibit diambil dari kebun, dipilih dari tanaman yang sudah tua, berumur 10 bulan ke atas dan pilih fisiknya besar, warnanya cerah, sehat dan tidak terluka/lecet alias mulus abis. Setelah diseleksi, rimpang jahe di jemur tidak sampai kering, kemudian simpan dalam suhu ruang sekitar 1 – 1,5 bulan.

Perlakuan bibit.
Rimpang jahe simpanan di ambil setelah itu patahkan/potong dengan tangan, setiap potong memiliki 3-5 mata tunas setelah itu di jemur 1 hari. Keesokan harinya, potongan tersebut dimasukkan wadah/keranjang yang berlobang/karung goni lalu dicelupkan dalam larutan fungisida dan zat pengatur tumbuh sekitar 1-2 menit, kemudian keringkan.
Persiapan bedeng semai dan penyemaian bibit.
Lahan bedengan bersihkan dari gulma dan ratakan, bagian dasar ditabur abu/sekam/gergajian setebal 5-10 cm. di atasnya beri lampisan tanah dan pasir halus/ladu tebal sekitar 5 cm lalu bibit taruh berjajar merata di atasnya. Kemudian ditutup dengan ladu. Pasang bambu di plengkung tinggi 40 cm kemudian tutup plastik. Penyemaian ini berguna buat berkecambah/tumbuh jadi serempak. Di persemaian kurang lebih sampai berumur 3 – 5 minggu siap tanam.

Media tanam.
Siapkan pupuk kandang, pasir halus, sekam bakar/abu, tanah, khusus untuk pemberian dolomit dan NPK: 1% dari semua campuran dan MOL (stater mikroba) setelah itu campur/aduk merata tutup dengan plastik, setiap pagi selama 7 – 15 hari media tanam aduk-aduk jangan lupa setelah selesai tutup plastik kembali. Setelah itu media siap digunakan

Penanaman
Persiapkan polibag plastik hitam ukuran 60 x 60 cm atau karung , kemudian di tekuk melebar masukkan media tanam yang telah disiapkan tanah campur kompos atau pupuk kandang.. seleksi bibit dipersemaian pilih yang sehat dan bongsor, dengan cara di congkel setelah itu tanam. Kemudian ditata rapi dalam bedengan. di atas bedengan pasang paranet tinggi 1.5 m guna peneduh/mengurangi terik dan curah hujan.

Perawatan
Perawatan yang dilakukan untuk penanaman jahe terbilang sederhana dan tidak ribet. Pembenihan dengan penyiraman dilakukan setiap 2 – 3 minggu dan dengan waktu yang sama siram air di campur pupuk organik media tanamnya pun bila ada hama dan penyakit segera di semprot insektisida atau fungisida organik. Setiap 25 hari sejak umur pertumbuhan tambahkan media tanam setinggi 10 cm dan bersihkan gulma di sekitar tanaman.
Pemanenan rimpang jahe merah dengan kualitas terbaik, didapat ketika masuk usia 9-10 bulan. Dengan cara sobek bagian tepi hingga tanah keluar, lalu pegang batang tanaman dan goyang-goyangkan pelan hingga tanah yang menempel di rimpang luruh. Pisahkan rimpang utama yang baik/super dengan rimpang pocelan, untuk menghindari penurunan kualitas jangan memotong memakai pisau atau benda logam, cukup pakai tangan dengan lembut.

Catatan !! Anda bisa mengatur dimana ingin meletakkan animasi tersebut sesuai keinginan. Caranya dengan mengedit tulisan bottom (bawah), top (atas), left ( kiri), right (kanan). Contoh : jika anda ingin memasang di pojok kanan atas, berarti anda harus mengubahnya menjadi top dan right.
